What are Kegel Exercises?
Kegel exercises are simple exercises that you can do on daily basis. It will help to make your pelvic muscles stronger. Pelvic floor muscles help to control the flow of urine. The pelvic muscle is located between the hips and also holds the reproductive organs. Weak pelvic muscles can lead to problems in controlling the urine, the bowels and erectile dysfunction in men.
As you get older or you are gaining weight, you should to do kegel exercises on daily basis. Leakage of urine is very common problem in aged patients. Those patients have nerve disorders also have urine leakage and bowel control problems. In men, erection and premature ejaculation is also common problems.

Position of Kegel Exercise
Sit straight or tall on chair. Keep the normal curve in your lower back. Breathe normally, lift your chest and shorten your penis inwards your body. (You can hold the base of penis to feel the contraction). Hold the flow of urine and tighten your anus like you are stopping the gas from passing. Keep your lower back muscles relaxed. Hold for five seconds and then relax. Now, relax your pelvic floor muscles back to their resting position.
When Should I Do My Kegel Exercise?
It can take six to eight weeks or more to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. So, try your best and keep doing on regular basis twice a day. Pelvic floor muscles are same like other muscles in your body. Keep right position, you will definitely achieve success.
Cautions
If you are not getting proper results or feeling pain in your lower back area with doing kegel exercises. It means that you are not doing correctly. When you are doing these exercises make sure that your chest, abdomen and back muscles should be relaxed. Do-not do excessive or hard exercises. If you are become tired then take a rest first.
During kegel exercises you have to make sure that you are taking proper diet and water intake. Water deficiency in body causes depression, stress, spasm, erection and premature ejaculation problems. Your urine should be light to pale yellow. Dark yellow urine means that you are dehydrated. Proper sleep is also necessary because if you cannot take proper sleep, you will not get benefits with kegel exercises.
